So list is versatile, the Jetbikes usually reserve because they're gonna try to last minute contest/capture. Farseer can go for a slew o things but Invisible Beastpack is enticing, no?
Moar Harlies, why they have Fusion Pistols? Oh you know, those silly Land Raiders who think they are safe from harm my first turn just trying to plow into my lines. Also since I'm not running them as much anymore (Since Fleet isn't impacting helping them Run) they are more likely to shoot before charging anyways I figure.
I've got the Jets which are really the only Flyer defense I got, woopiee.
Trueborn teams are poison teams, their rides reinforce that and no, I don't need the Dark Lance for them apparently. Yes, they're glass cannons and die when *properly* sneezed at.
Baron having Warlord status might seem weird but it's because he's self mobile and definitely hopes to roll himself up Scoring status to aid the Beast pack he joins (who can be the same or different pack from the Farseer. But since he is self mobile, like the Jetbike Seer, he can support other places as needed.
Duke has a slew of options as well in either joining that meaty Warrior unit or hopping to join with the Wychs and going in reserve and "bombing" with them via Low Orbit Raid mechanics. Part of why the Wychs have Dissie Raiders too, more and more utility.
Oh almost forgot about the cute Angry Birds, well if you don't get what they do, then I'm sorry.

Looks pretty good, the only thing that I don't like is having disintegrators on your raiders as you have several anti infantry units. Popping transports is your first priority and any help you can get with that is always a must.
Also having multiple units do multiple things does not bode well for Dark Eldar. Each unit has a specific role to play in the Dark Eldar army and depending on what you equip them with, they should only be used for that role.
That being said, you have a very nice list and I would love to hear how it works out.

I dont really see the point of the duke. If you want a foot poison squad, go 20 kabbies with 2 splinter cannons. Only 2 groups of wytches in raiders hardly justifies deep strike ability or the drug re rolls.
Also, why 2 squads of 5 clowns instead of 1 squad of ten? Both codex's have better melta options for fusion pistols, and MSU does not work with expensive harlequins.

I think its better to have multiple options for units than a single minded unit really, @Barry
Duke allows deployment options, I really think it's key to manipulate how you enter from Reserves as DE/Eldar as tehy really do suffer. Plus, it's either that or zooming into mid with your Wychs first turn and hoping you got first turn to do so? Otherwise he can allow the Wychs to DS right ontop of a vehicle/unit you needa try to tie up later and get em that way. I suppose he can go for some more scoring or something though.
2 Squads because I can combine them on a single target if need be, otherwise the flexibility in choosing more targets because I have more units is the main reason. I mean, how often do you run against a GK list with the Stormraven with the anti-psyker missiles? The split up helps vs those immensely.

Looks like a badass list! If I had dark eldar I would try something close to this. Good luck with your games. You should post the results from your games

Well, Duke and Baron in one army. Sounds rather unfluffy.
I'd drop the DE Harlies and add another Razorwing.
The Eldar detachment is rather questionable. A lone Jetseer? GJB's without shuricannons? Harlies for what?

well if you really want to deepstrike the wyches why dont you just spend 5pts to put retrofire jets on the venoms instead of spending 150pts for an hq that does the same thing
Also I cant stress how much better an attached eldar 10 man harlie squad would be. you could get a cheap archon with a shadow field, blaster, and vb and put him in front of the squad and then laugh as you get to re-roll your 2++ thanks to fortune!

Good first point about the Retrofire Jets, I'll consider it.
Funny 2nd point, I remember stating how a single GK Stormraven ruins exactly what you're saying tactics wise, but the 2 units rather than 1 gets around this, but you go on to suggest a infantry sized model is somehow "in front" of a ten man unit (whom people can Block their own vision to the unit so they don't see him, or come from a angle where he can't be "the closest").
I'll drop Duke and see what I can do though, thanks!
Jetbikes currently didn't have Shuricannons cuz of points restrictions; Harles separate because of above logic of avoiding 1 thing screwing you over (and you can always converge onto 1 target with both units if need be) Jetseer isn't alone, he can join Harlies, Beasts, a whole lotta units.
And list change with the suggestions in mind that I think were valid:

I can only provide minimal advise as I've not quite seen a list run in this fashion. If those listed are the powers listed for the Farseer, I'd recommend Doom over Mind War. You have a good amount of shooting and Dark Eldar can benefit from the effects of Doom as it is cast on an enemy unit.
In regards to the Wyches, they obviously aren't any type of lynchpin (everything is relatively cheap and expendable in your list, which I like), but just be aware that exploding Raiders are S4 hits to the Wyches this edition. When shooting AP1 or AP2 weapons at them, it's not hard to blow them up.
I'm not overly a bit fan of a Shuriken Cannon on a 3 man jetbike squad. I've always found it get tempting to want to shoot the Cannon as opposed to getting them into a better position for scoring/denying objecitves. And one Cannon at BS 3 is not really worth the tradeoff. I think those bikes are fine for what they are intended to do.

No earth shattering, thought provoking quote. I'm just someone who was introduced to 40K in the late 80's and it's become a lifelong hobby. |

No, the powers should be obvious they are swapped for Telepathy or Divination..my bad if Invisible Beastpack wasn't fully implied.
It's not hard to blow anything up in this army, save maybe the characters. That's DE for ya.
