I'm a new player looking for some new friends to play wh40k with around my area. Still need to learn a lot and want to just meet new people.

If you can make it to Martinsburg, they have a store there that has 40k on Wednesdays 5pm-9pm and monthly Tournaments. Next tournament is Dec 15th. It would be a good place to meet up with local-ish players.

Where in martinsburg? I live in MD but I am through WV panhandle frequently and could do Saturday or Sunday tourneys.

Yeah I know about the hobby place how ever I work we days an normally not get off until 6 or 7. I may stop in a get to know people one day though. I have been painting and collecting for a little over a year now and only played 2 games of 5th edition...

The store is called Your Hobby Place. Not sure on the address, but you can google it or look up their forums/website.

And there is a hobby/comic store in Winchester, Comics Kung Fu. My buddy and I host a Warhammer night on Thursdays.
