Not a bad price. Considering the barrels and buckets etc which come with it, some players might find it a worthwhile purchase even if they'll replace the crew entirely.

Ooh, cheap nice looking generic 28mm plastic cannons! Sweet.
These would be great to go with Perry WotR or whatever, or just for any army that needs a cannon.
Powder scoops and ramrods are all seperate pieces too, so using them to convert other models into artillery crew could work great.
The barrels and horses and things are a nice bonus, too.

Plenty of alternate crews available from other suppliers, which will fit a greater number of time periods. Also useful for fantasy. Wargames Factory's quality seems to have improved a lot over the last 6-12 months.

I'm sure the experience of doing Dreamforge Games' stuff is helping too... Automatically Appended Next Post: Wow, you know what, I knew these kits existed for a long time but ignored them (the awful paint jobs on the infantry on the website helped me to ignore them). But, after looking at all the sprues for the WSS kits that WGF makes, and reading about the war itself, and realizing you can make basically all the units from every country from the box sets... and considering how cheap they are... I think i'm going to buy a couple hundred figures to wargame the Battle of Blenheim using the scenario in Black Powder The Last Argument of Kings.

Agreed. If you want to see what WGF is really capable of when paired with a very talented artist/digital sculpter then look at the new Dreamforge stuff coming out. Mark is an absolute artist and WGF is doing top notch work on his designs.

Cannons and the kit look awesome. The rest is kind of meh, but given this is WGF, the massive increase in quality is obvious.
I have some of their greatcoat troopers (hilariously bad) and some of their WWII Germans (middle of the road, but still a great deal with all the extra kit they come with) so this is a good sign that they're improving.

The Greatcoats could have been so great... so great.
Their WSS line would be great for a WHFB Empire army. If IG could have used such pieces of artillery, I'd have bought some, since the price is great.
