Hi all,
Team USA is currently looking to fill some positions for 2013. So as with any job, we are taking applications. If you feel that you are up to the task, and can finacially commit to heading over to Serbia in August (and get the time off from work), feel free to submit a "resume" as it were. Please be honest with yourself regarding your ability, We are talking about competing against the best players that each other country is sending. Please include the following on your application:

Your name.

Armies that you play, ordered by comfort level(most comfortable first).

Event results that show your skill level. (battle points are most important, while being a skilled painter is important to the hobby, it doesn't yeild any points at ETC). Please include your list for the event and any comp rules/restrictions used at said event. The more events you can show in the last 1-1.5 years, the better.

Make an ETC list under the 2012 restrictions for your prefered army. Explain the strengths of the list and it's role on the team to the best of your ability. (For example, discuss which armies are a problem matchup for you, which armies you would expect to 20-0).

Previous ETC experience? Did you play for Team USA before or have you been a mercenary for another team?

References, either former/current ETC members, TO's or just prominent players you know who can attest to your ability.

Events you are planning to attend between now and May 2013. Many current and former team members attend several Grand Tournaments a year(see below for a list). If you are a serious candidate we will do our best to try and get a current/former player to the same event to try to play you in a pick up game, or at least observe one of your games and talk to you.

Events team members are attending are, Templecon(Feb 1-3, Warwick RI), Lone wolf GT(Feb 10-12, Dallas TX), Da Boyz Spring event(March 2-3, Rochester NY), Colonial GT(end of March/early April, NJ), Adepticon(April 18-21, Chicago Il).

Many of us also attend other events, Such as the Unplugged GT, NOVA, Wargamescon, Crossroads GT, but this would more likely impact decisions for a 2014 team.
