I have been looking all over the interwebs trying to find a painting service that meets my price/quality standards. I have a large number of models that I would like to have painted, but I haven't found the right person/group yet.
I was hoping Dakka could give me some recommendations.
Ideally, I would like someone that charges between 5 and 7 for an infantry model, to give you a rough idea of the price point I'm looking for. Paintwise, I prefer a smooth/clean look, most likely in the airbrushing department. I can't stand paint jobs that look "heavy", or gloppy, if that makes any sense. I'm a big fan of Next Level Painting, but they are just too expensive, and was hoping someone could suggest another service with similar quality and style.
Any suggestions?

blue table painting is not as expencive as next lvl painting but theyre work is pretty crappy!! so no smooth paintjobs from them...
idk if you already have the models because if you dont i would suggest Nuke Arts! they have pretty competative prices and their work is stunning! only downside is that you will need to ship international if you want to use their services

Thank you for the suggestion. I looked into Blue Table a long time ago. While I would consider their work above average, I also think they charge waaaaay too much for what they do. There's a guy at my local shop who had some work done by them, so I've seen it first hand. It's not my cup of tea, so to speak.

All of the models are assembled and primed already, but I will look into Nuke Arts.

Get a new hobby? J/K
I recently recieved some models from BTP and here is my experience so far.
The lvl 5 swarmlord i got was amazing. but you are paying for that. the lvl 3(table top standard) were mediocre, but again that is table top standard meaning get the models out fast. If you have already prepped and primed the models i would suggest BTP. They are currently working on the rest of my bugs for me. I already had the models and their customer service is unparralled. There is a fast turn around too.
OR... you could go to your local game store and see if there is anyone there who is willing to paint them for you. you will not get the turnaround time and you are taking a risk that they will not complete the project.
There are many painting services out there and even more overseas. just do your research and see what you can come up with for the best price.
-Cheers

Yeah, as I said earlier, BTP isn't for me.
I do have a guy who paints for me locally, and I have been very pleased with his cost/quality. The problem is that he can't do the high level type of work I'm looking for.
And I have been doing my research. Off and on for months. And I still haven't found my happy middle ground yet, which is why I am asking for more opinions/suggestions. I appreciate anyone that has any.

Asides from online options, you could always look around your LFGS as there are always those groups that are into the hobby side. And the other advantage to that is that you can sit there and review there works in person as well.

There's also the private painters who are willing to take on a side project.
The one's who don't advertise other than word of mouth and just do it for fun rather than profit.
