Hi all, this is my first Sister of Battle mini I have ever painted, not the best I've done but it looks good enough for the table which is at times a dangerous place for showcase quality (ie. I'm too lazy to spend weeks on it). The sword was done with pearlescent white so it is all glittery like Edward Cullen IRL. The arms are magnetised so the eviserator and melta pistol are in the works which are far better loadouts but don't look as cool imo. The force will be used as allies for my Salamanders to crush some Dark Angels, erm, I mean enemies of the Emperor right M4cr0Dutch?

Next in the works is probably a Sister Superior, Thanks for looking!

*New photo*
-Added blue glaze and highlights to black armour
-Fixed scar

Should I be worried that you are painting Sisters inspired by my wife? I'm a bit dissapointed there is no baby bump

Jokes aside, great job. The face is done really well (similar to your Deathwatch Templar, minus the lipstick....). Neat work on the torches as well: I usually hate flames when they are modelled. Surely you are going to do some highlights on the black armour though. C'mon lazy bones, get to it!

P.S. I have some Iron Snakes allies in the works to counter your nuns-with-guns.

The black parts of the armor need some more highlighting, other than that it is looking exelent!

Excellent work! Especially the scar, which I always think is overdone on that particular model. Nice!

Outside the DarkTower, amongst the roses.

I really like this, good job.

Every Dakkanaught gets a 4+ Pinch of Salt save.
When you suffer a Falling Sky hit, roll a D6 - on a 4+ the hit is ignored as per the Pinch of Salt save. On a 1-3 panic insues - you automatically fail common sense tests for the next 2 weeks and get +7 to your negativity stat. -Praxiss

I thought it would be harder for you to try and stomp her if she is called Jen =). Yes I resort to psychological warfare seeing as my tactics and dice fail me.

Guess I will have to highlight the armour from the responses here, probably the standard dark blue.

The "bacon face" scar should actually be two individual scars lol, I'll fix it up!

Thanks all.

That's a great looking model. Kinda curious to see the sword effect, though I wonder if that's difficult to achieve with photographing such a small model if you don't have an expensive camera.

One thing I finally noticed about that model, is what happened to her face? Scar on one side (that somehow miraculously left her eye intact), bionic eye on the other.

At some point, you'd think she'd learn, and wear a helmet.

Marneus Calgar is referred to as "one of the Imperium's greatest tacticians" and he treats the Codex like it's the War Bible. If the Codex is garbage, then how bad is everyone else?

That's one of the most natural faces I think I've ever seen on a Sister. The armor is, perhaps, a bit flat compared to the rest of the model, but it looks fantastic, overall.

Absolutely love it! I envy you your face-painting skills. She looks very feminine, something GW usually fails at Nice work on the fire too.

One small nit-pick though: you could try adding scriptions onto the purity seals.
