Hi guys,

I don't play any historical games, but I do play 40k. For the theme of one of my Guard units I want to paint them after some "late war" US paratroopers. (Kinda like the guys out of "Brothers in Arms: Hell's Highway if you've played that game or even the popular "Band of Brothers" miniseries) So does anyone have any advice on painting the M1943 uniform? Or any guides or videos I can check out? Thanks

P.S. I didn't know where to exactly post this , so I hope you don't mind me posting here.

Hi, I suggest you take a look at flamesofwar.com, IMO they have a quite good tutorials on how to paint US troops:

http://www.flamesofwar.com/hobby.aspx?art_id=737 <-- Painting US Airborne troops, this tutorial also includes M1943 uniform for Paras

http://www.flamesofwar.com/hobby.aspx?art_id=444 <-- Painting US infantry uniforms

I hope this helps
