I'm attending Operation Protineus this month and my Kill Team is pretty much all prepared it's made up of 5 wolf guard terminators.
Leader: Combi-Plasma & Frost Blade,
Terminator: Combi-Plasma & Power Weapon,
Terminator: Combi-Plasma & Power Weapon,
Terminator: Combi-Melta & Power Weapon ('Torrent' specialist),
Terminator: Combi-Plasma & Power Maul, ('Smash' specialist).
But now I can't decide what to take for the 3rd special rule which I'll mostly likely give to the leader so here's the run-down...
Feel No Pain: Killing my leader will earn my opponent 2 pts so I'd like to make him hard to kill and FNP would help, however the drawback is he'll be then worth 3 pts.
Fleshbane: Allowing his bolter to wound on a 2+ would help stack up those kills that can earn him additional benefits as the tournament goes on.
Hatred: Re-rolling 1s in shooting and combat will be good as it will protect me from overheating and likely guarantee a kill with the plasma shots. There is the option of putting this on one of the other wolf guard terminators to avoid that 3pt prize on the leader.
Infiltrate: Giving this to one of my wolf guard terminators would allow me to setup is a good spot or closer to my opponent but would the risks outweigh the benefits?
Psyker: Having my team supported with Biomancy or Divination powers would be very nasty however having my 1 wound leader die from 'perils of the warp' is very risky in a Kill Team game.
Shrouded: Plasma weapons pose the biggest risk to my kill team so giving me leader shrouded will make him hard to kill with both low and high ap weapons.
Well there they are let me know which you think would be best for my 3rd specialist rule?
