Hi all, I'm principally a historical gamer, but have recently been persuaded to get myself an Ogre Kingdoms army so I can play against a work colleague who is a veteran WHFB player. I think he just fancies an easy victory...

Over in the historical gaming world I run the Partizan wargames shows www.partizan.org.uk - forgive the website, it's due an overhaul...

Old-timer in terms of gaming, first gamed with Airfix Napoleonics and joined the Hastings wargames club in a drafty and cold room above a stable in 1974, moved to Newark on Trent in 1982 when it was still the home of Citadel on Victoria Street, and know a few of the 'wargames glitterati' from the old days. Still get regularly beaten in all forms of wargaming, which just goes to show that longevity doesn't necessarily mean a thing...

Will be seeking help if my friend gets mean with his Lizardmen when we meet up, which will probably be at Warhammer World over the coming holiday season, assuming I get these Ogres finished in time
