Can you take a look at this list and advise please. Never played OnG in fantasy before, this is purely based on what I like model wise and what I think are good combinations. Not got the book yet so please highlight any mistakes on points. Any advice on list and/or tactics would be great. Thanks.
Lords
SO Warboss- AHW, AoSS, Dawnstone- 223
Fighty lord with 2+ rerollable armour save, joins SO’s.
Night Goblin Great Shaman- Level 4, Talisman of Preservation- 220
L4 with decent ward save, joins NG’s.
Heros
SO Shaman- Level 2, LSH
Mainly there for the 5+ ward and is L2 to hopefully get foot of gork. Joins SO’s
SO Big Boss- Gold Sigil Sword, Crown of Command- 125
Another fighty guy, but I10, joins SO’s to lend his weight and protect SO Shaman.
NG Shaman- Dispel Scroll- 75
Scroll caddy and an extra Sneaky Stabbing. Joins the NG’s.
NGBB- BSB, Banner of Discipline- 70
Purely there for the reroll to keep frenzy units in check. Joins the NG’s.
SO Big Boss- War Boar, Sword of Strife, Enchanted Shield, Potion of Speed- 140
8 STR 5 including the boar, and potion for situational challenges to go first. Joins SOBB’s.
Core
37 SO’s- Big Uns’, Full Command, AHW’s- 437
Crunch unit supported by Warboss, Big Boss and 5+ wards.
37 NG’s- Full Command, Netters, 3 Fanatics- 254
Gobbo version of SO’s, unit sits behind main line in BSB range.
2 x 20 NG’s- Bows, 2 Fanatics- 220 (110 per unit)
These units will sit in front of the War Machine’s with fanatics for an extra little surprise for all those scouting/fast units who try it on.
Special
15 SOBB- Spears/Shields, Full Command- 330
Deployed 8 x 2 and joined by the Big Boss on Boar. 3 STR 5 each plus boss=punchy support unit for SO’s or for crunching small units on their own. Plus I love the models.
Rare
2 x Mangler Squigs- 130
Love the rules and idea; they will do what they will do best.
2 x Doom Diver- 160
2 x Rock Lobber- 170
These will be split into 2 groups, 1 of each in each group protected by the NG archers. Good weapons all round.
Colossal Squig- 290
Will count as Arachnarok, but I intend to model a howdah manned by NG’s. Forest Gobbos ride spiders, Night Gobbos ride Squigs is the thinking here.
Total- 2999

This list looks really good, so good job there!
There are a few things that I'd change though, mainly as far as your characters are concerned. Firstly, it's all well and good having a 2+ re-rollable save on your Orc General, until along comes a character/thing that ignores armour saves or has high enough strength to make you re-roll 5s or 6s. As a general (excuse the pun) rule, I always have a Ward Save on my fighty lords for this reason. Stops them getting splatted by cannons too, which is nice. I would also perhaps consider dropping the other Orc Big Bosses, while character spam can be fun and effective, it is often not always the best way. Personally, I think you'd gain with what you save from dropping the Boss on Boar, your Boar Boyz are pretty strong as it is.
If you can, as well, I'd squeeze some Black Orcs in there, since they too, are fairly epic.
Other than that, a great list, and thumbs-up for using Mangler Squigs!

Thanks for your comments. I figured the warboss would be ok without a magic talisman as being a savage orc he gets a free 5+ ward from being in the savage unit.
I kinda see what you mean about the boar boss, but I think he turns a strong unit into a real hard hitter, having said that I haven't ever used them. Maybe you know something I don't. I would agree more with the other savage boss. I guess the general can babysit the savage shaman whilst smashing skulls. Although stubborn LD 9 is nice, I guess if a horde of savage orcs is relying on that item to be stubborn, something has already gone very wrong.
If I was to drop one or both, what would you take instead?

I like the idea of the Savage Orc/ Character deathstar and I think that it will crush virtually anything it hits. I worry about your NG unit though, it's bigger than a bunker has to be but too small too function as an effective tarpit (especially as the characters in it could be slaughtered easily. I'd look at making this unit larger so it can tarpit in your front line and using the 20 man archer units as bunkers. Positioned correctly they can still use their fanatics to protect warmachines.
If the NGs aren't going to be used as a tarpit it means that you only have 2 units that can be used in your battle-line, both of which are frenzied and likely to be redirected like crazy.
Just my 2 cents.

I wasn't intending to use the NG's as a battleine unit.But I see your point. How about:
Dropping the on foot big boss (125 points) for:
1 extra savage orc
2x NG Bosses with GW (68 points for both)- this would allow me to deploy bsb, L4 and clscroll caddy in second rank.
I can then add 15 extra NG's for a total unit of 52 for a proper battle line tarpit.
Your thoughts?
