I just finished these yesterday. I realize that the bases look a little 'busy' but I figured weapons like these would be heavily concealed so it felt right to give them some extra foliage. Enjoy!

And the original shots are here:

Ze Germans are coming!

Very cool!

I haven't seen very much flames of war stuff personally, but I really like the bushes and that officer in the front.

The pen is mightier then the sword, but you must keep a sword handy for when the pen runs out of ink.

Wow, did not expect to get so many replies considering this board is mostly full of 40k stuff lol. Perhaps I can inspire some to take up FOW . Thank you for the comments! I'm currently painting some anti-tank guns and will take pictures when they're done.

In the unit on the far right, is that soldier shoulder-firing that MG42?

He's going to end up on his ass with a broken collarbone.

Thin your paints, drill your gun barrels, remove all mold lines. The Emperor wills it.

Actually that was my bad, the guy shoulder firing the MG42 is supposed to have the gun mounted onto the shoulder of the guy who's kneeling right beside him. I don't remember having seen that in the assembly instructions (it was pointed out to me by someone else) and I found the gunner's pose to be pretty awkward, I guess I just couldn't put two and two together.

Honestly I think it's the best starter set I've ever seen. I was originally just going to get the rulebook for $50 CDN because I figured the starter kit would be well over $100, then I found out it was just $66 CDN at my FLGS and I was all over it. Rulebook, 800 points per side, terrain, quick start guide, and dice? Yes. Yes please. It's a fantastic set.

That was a much more common tactic; the assistant gunner would stand in front of the gunner and grip the weapon by the bipod with the barrel shroud resting on his shoulder. This gave the gunner a semi-stable firing platform.
I just hope the assistant gunner had ear protection, because having the mouth of "Hitler's Buzz-Saw" inches away from your face/ears will be incredibly loud.

Awesome. Only comment is maybe more highlighting on guns.

Quote from chromedog
and 40k was like McDonalds - you could get it anywhere - it wouldn't necessarily satisfy, but it was probably better than nothing.
