Tzeentch Veteran Marine with Psychic Potential
|
Ahoy hoy.
As part of my ongoing project for a pure thousand sons army, I'm looking to have a unit or two of chaos bikers.
For a bit of a thematic twist however, I want to have thousand sons riding discs as opposed to bikes (still mounted on bike bases for rules legality, naturally)
The only problem is, discs of tzeentch seem kind of hard to come by. The only model I can find with one is the fantasy tzeentch lord on a disc, and buying ten of those just for the discs seems inefficient and expensive. There are a couple of daemonic looking discs and I've seen some people mounting 1k sons on screamers as discs, but I definitely want mechanical construct looking discs, as opposed to fleshy, organic, daemonic discs.
Does anyone have any suggestions for what I might use for the discs?

Scratchbuild with bits on them seems the good idea if you do not want to go on the screamers road.
I bought a tzeentch herald just for the dick, but I only needed one for my CSM sorcerer.

Oooooo that was a bad typo
But yeah scratchbuilding them is probably the best bet. Alternatively you could just use or modify Screamers? Mayhaps have the riders 'steering' them with reins of chains?

I'm thinking itll have to be screamers if nothing else comes up, but I really wanted a more mechanical disc.
I did think of scratch building, but I want them to all look uniform.

you can compensate by owning 2 guns and laughing at guys that do wear pink!
