The Eternity Gate

I'm going for a new approach with my crons and eschew any real CC units. It has mobility and firepower but obviously vulnerable to CC so any thoughts or suggestions are appreciated.

I'd drop the arrow, the chances of it doing something are rather low.
At the start of the game, you don't have a lot on the table.Lotta toys in this army

you'd have a ghost arc, two annihilation barges, and your HQs

shooting would be strong between the barges and the doom scythe, a smart opponent knocks your barges out turn 1/2 and then focuses the doom scythe after it gets its first shot off

Aegis line plus night scythes make great AA defense.

3 flyers at 1500 is nasty

Assuming the destroteks are manning the gun, consider a cheaper cryptek to man the gun. Maybe even a lord to give them some toys/durability/CC punch.

Thanks for the replies. The overlord is with the court and going to man the gun. He's a pretty good assault deterrent and with the arrow can take a pot shot at any AV 14.

I hear you about the fact that the army is essentially bifurcated but it plays well generally with my units focused on a flank and my flayers cause disruption when they eventually come in. Im open to thoughts about a unit to add to the deployment force though.
