How to introduce myself... good question. Let us have a go at it then...
I have been
RPG-ing sinds 1993, painting miniatures since 1994. My background in arts made me prime choice for my friends to dump their pewter dragons, ogres, dwarfs and whatnots so I could paint them. One of my friends dragged me to a tournament at the local gaming den (The Lonely Mountain...for local
RPG-ers this is ancient history

). I did not have an army of my own instead I just borrowed armies from my friends to battle with, I painted most of their miniatures anyway. I left the miniature scene at around 2002 when I moved to Sweden to build up a life with fellow
RPG-er (studio.colrouphobia). I decided to finish my studies in Sweden, co-founded Studio Colrouphobia and had two "adorable" hellspawn whilst working a "normal job".
In 2010 the entire family moved back to Belgium and now the lads were getting older and both my hubby and me were getting vibes again to play, we dragged our hellspawn to the local
GW cave to make them choose an army. Chaos corruption has to start at an early age so my current seven and nine year old lads had to pick factions. My hubby has this affinity with Chaos and Spacewolves, quite noticeable in his artworks. My oldest son likes Space Marines (currently he likes blood angels) and I was fearing my youngest would pick Tau or heaven forbids...Eldar...

(yes we have prejudice towards them in our household, comes from our natural affinity with other factions)
Instead he walked around in the store, looking at all the Ulramarine figurines and called then "wimps". He looked at me and said he wanted orks like mummy

. So currently I have to share my horde with my youngest. I am more into Feral orks, whilst he likes Stompahs and Evil Sunz, because red does go "fastah". I like Snakbites.
I do love the tech bit of the orks. The junkyard tech that defies all laws of human logics is just brilliant in my opinion combined with the brute logic of ork society makes me smile every time I have to defend my choice to other players. The unpredictable nature of the ork and their tech gives gaming another level for me. They are organised chaos, entropy embodied, which is brillant!
So I like orks
On a professional level I am freelance artist for Studio Colrouphobia, whilst !mpie my husband mainly works digital, I work mainly on canvas. I also wor in the energy sector here in Belgium, a job that despite it all fits my academical background in environmental engineering perfectly. On a personal level I can say I am fond of single malts, beer, indie music, martial arts and reading...And orks (and chaos dwarfs). I speak several languages fluently, I use them on a daily base, so should you ever need help wih translations between one of the following lingos...lemme know. (Dutch, English, Swedish, French, Gaelic (Gaelge), Latin and German).
What I hope to find on this forum is simple: Ideas for campaigns, debating rules and means to show off painted miniatures...I am that simple when it comes down to
40k
Oh yea...and whatever you do....please do not ask me...EVER...whether those orks I just bought are a present for my boyfriend

I get kinda into nob-mode after that one.
