I've just finished painting my Airborne/Paratroop company, I've got 3 airlanding platoons (HQ, 2 rlf/Mh, 2rlf/MH,1rfl/MH, light mortar, PIAT), 1 HMG plat(HQ, 2x2HMG teams) 1 ATGunsection (HQ, 2x 2light anti-tank teams,) Command (HQ, 2iC, 3 snipers, 3 PIAT) It adds up to about 1250.

The question is what next? A flight of planes or something different? Any suggestions?

Below are pictures of my force (hoping to engage some traitorous soviets this Friday!)

Spoiler:
Infantry Squad: 4 bases (2 sections), command, light mortar and PIAT

Company HQ with some PIAT boys

2pdr Anti-Tank guns

4 HMG teams w/ HQ, 2 sections

Snipers

The whole lot - in the upper corners you can see objectives (pile o' crates and a bunker) and a few 'entrenchment markers'

Looks like a pretty static force. You may want to go with some tanks for mobility. You also may want to get some artillery to help slow the enemy force down a bit. Planes tend not to play a big role in most games. How many points are looking to have in total?

I don't know what the local pts region, or even general. What is the equivalent to 1850 40k or 2000pts fantasy?

Looks to be 1750 points. It is pretty close to 40k when it comes to points.

1st suggestion is more 6pdrs, at least 4 if not 8! These are probably my most useful unit!

You are also distinctly lacking smoke, so either a mortar platoon, or the air landing light battery.

Depending if you're using TT or ABtF (though that is being replaced in a month)

I would go for 4 tetrachs or recce jeeps respectively

I would suggest some armor or Arty. one thing you could do is buy the new box set and trade the PAras and German goodies for more Brit armor or Arty.
