Hello, I was looking for stats and opinions on ork fliers. I know there are two or three you can make from the one model. What are the differences/pros and cons to one or the other. How many points do they cost, what can you take, etc. I cant find it in my codex. Any info or tactical advice is much appreciated

It's not in your codex it was from a White Dwarf suppliment IIRC.

You can try to google search the Model's name + Rules

It's against Dakka policy to give out items points/rules/etc

Nearly every list I see with fliers take the Dakka Jet variant. It seems to put out more reliable firepower with it's supa-shootas whereas the Bomber variants are hit-or-miss.

I like the dakkajet and blitz bommer, so I built it with the supa shootas, a magnet on the bottom for the bombs and the round grot turret, which can be swiveled to the front as the dakkajet's third supa shoota, or removed entirely if needed to keep things clear.

"Got you, Yugi! Your Rubric Marines can't fall back because I have declared the tertiary kaptaris ka'tah stance two, after the secondary dacatarai ka'tah last turn!"

"So you think, Kaiba! I declared my Thousand Sons the cult of Duplicity, which means all my psykers have access to the Sorcerous Facade power! Furthermore I will spend 8 Cabal Points to invoke Cabbalistic Focus, causing the rubrics to appear behind your custodes! The Vengeance for the Wronged and Sorcerous Fullisade stratagems along with the Malefic Maelstrom infernal pact evoked earlier in the command phase allows me to double their firepower, letting me wound on 2s and 3s!"

"you think it is you who has gotten me, yugi, but it is I who have gotten you! I declare the ever-vigilant stratagem to attack your rubrics with my custodes' ranged weapons, which with the new codex are now DAMAGE 2!!"

"...which leads you straight into my trap, Kaiba, you see I now declare the stratagem Implacable Automata, reducing all damage from your attacks by 1 and triggering my All is Dust special rule!"

Cant say points costs, but a dakkajet with fighta ace and extra supa shoota cost the same as a vendetta, and is the main flyer that gets taken. As for armor, its an ork flyer, so its basically a cardboard box with wings.

It's got 3 supa shootas fully upgraded that will put out 9 twinlinked S6 shots at bs 3 (literally the most accurate thing orks have) and they can wreck most infantry and lightly armored vehicles. What makes them really scary though is that on the turn you call a WAAAGH its shots DOUBLES, meaning you've got 18 s6 shots that are all twin linked. It can even knock vendettas out of the sky in a single round of shooting if it rolls halfway decent.

The others are kind of meh though.

I made a thread asking a similar question, basically once you buy the box what's the best route to take.

That should help you out.

For the official rules, and if you have an iPad thingummy:
https://itunes.apple.com/gb/book/chapter-approved-ork-bommer/id537254961?mt=11
is from the GW digital products page. It's annoying to have to pay extra but it's better than SM players who have to shell out for an entire Digital Codex for the Stormtalon rules...
