Hey guys, as some of you might know, Ive already posted this list before. However, this time, I want to expand it to 1999 points, but I dont know where to start. Could you guys help me out?
Company Command Squad - 4 plasma guns, chimera - 165
Veterans - 3 plasma guns, chimera - 170
Veterans - 3 plasma guns, chimera - 170
Veterans - 3 plasma guns - 115
Veterans - 3 melta guns, Chimera - 155
Veterans - 3 melta guns, Chimera - 155
Vendetta - 130

I would give your melta gunners the Chimeras, not the Plasma gunners, they have less range and need to get up close, the plasmas, not so much.
As for objective grabbing, you should be fine.
I like it, it's a nice, "in your face army".
Also, give a squad a melta bomb, you have 5 points left over and it is SCREAMING melta bomb! Especially with an aggressive (by guard standards) army as this.
In my opinion, and I say this often, I don't agree with plasma guns on Guard, you could get 3 Chimeras for the amount you have.

The two units of melta vets catch a ride in the vendettas, but I can change this to the plasma gunners if necessary.

I would advise against using Vendettas as transports, especially for you melta vets. This is because, you get all of your AT on turn 3 or something. I would just be repeating myself if I waffled on about plasma guns again.

Another CCS with Plasma or melta could be nice. Cheaper than vets, who needs the extra guys anyways if they are in chimeras. Chimeras for everyone! Or more LRBT

Updated the build in the OP. Everybody barring my campers are mechanised, but the demolishers are now plain russes.
