So trying to build up my EC army and came up with this:
Lord -Mark of Slaanesh -Lightning Claw -Power Fist -Gift of Mutation -Sigil of Corruption -Veterans 145
Fabius Bile 165
20 Chaos Marines -MoS -Exchange bolters for CCW -Icon of Excess -2 Meltagun -Power Sword -Melta Bombs -Gift of Mutation -Veterans 400
20 Chaos Marines -MoS -Exchange bolters for CCW -Icon of Excess -2 Meltagun -Power Fist -Gift of Mutation -Veterans 405
30 Cultists -Shotgun -3 Flamers -MoS 165
29 Cultists -Autoguns -2 Heavy Stubbers 155
3 Obliterators 210
2 Obliterators 140
5 Havocs -4 Assault Cannons 115
Aegis Defence Line Quad Gun 100
2000
Lord in a CSM unit that Fabius Enchances, Fabius in the other to give them fearless. A question I am considering is should I free up 80 points by dropping an obliterator and a few cultists or reduce the Autogun Cultists to a much smaller unit to operate the ADL and/or camp a home objective and with those 80 points give the 2 Marine units bolters and CCWs for the added flexibility in case they take an Objective they can hold it while providing better fire.

Thus, After having thus successively taken each member of the community in its powerful grasp and fashioned him at will, the supreme power then extends its arm over the whole community. It covers the surface of society with a network of small complicated rules, minute and uniform, through which the most original minds and the most energetic characters cannot penetrate, to rise above the crowd. The will of man is not shattered, but softened, bent, and guided; men are seldom forced by it to act, but they are constantly restrained from acting. Such a power does not destroy, but it prevents existence; it does not tyrannize, but it compresses, enervates, extinguishes, and stupefies a people, till each nation is reduced to nothing better than a flock of timid and industrious animals, of which the government is the shepherd

Too less bang for the bucks. Large units of CSM are pointless. The army lacks fast units. An EC army generally looks very different from this.

I am partial to Assault Oriented Noisemarines, Grab a Doom Siren, and put that int 5 to work on the enemy.
Though if shooty is your cup of team avoid all cc equipment including the siren.

If you haven't looked into noise marines, try units of 6. Give the champion the doomsiren, power sword, and meltabomb, give the 5 marines sonic blasters, and give the unit the icon of I feel nothing.. Put them in a rhino with a combi-flamer, run up to something that thinks its safe in cover, blast the hell out of it with an ap3 template and 10 bolter shots which ignore cover and cause pinning, and finish off with the flamer from the rhino if need be (and able). If you get charged, so what, more ap3 template, even more bolter shots to the face, and you've got a better than average initiative with a power sword.
Just stay away from power fists
The other way to run them is to CCW them up and hope the higher initiative plays out in your favor, but I'm not the biggest fan of this. Typically need more bodies for this to be effective (7-10 marines), which is costly, and I think berzerkers and chosen do the CC mombo better for the same costs (tons of attacks on berzerkers, better weapons, and infinitely better weapons on chosen. 6 guys with powerfists in one unit? I don't care if it's expensive, that's freaking awesome.
