Hi there,

Recently I joined in at a really pleasant tournament here in Belgium. It had a decent weight on painting and I all-round loved it, It's a 1850p tourney with special characters allowed.

This Year I joined in with the Avenger Crons (had 1850 fully painted, got me an extra 23 points of the 100 ^^) but next year I wanna bring a Marine list, however I wan't to make them as cool as possible and as deadly as possible so I came up with this list, with in mind how they tend to set the tournament Missions and such which are very objectives orientated.

HQ =

Pedro Kantor

Troops =

4x Tactical squad, 10 men, sergeant has a power weapon and storm bolter (really like stormbolters), flamer, missile launcher. Dedicated transport = Razorback with LasPlasma.

Elites =

10 Sterngaurd Veterans, 2 heavy flamers. Dedicated Transport = Drop Pod

Heavy support =

Devastator Squad, 4 missile Launchers

Fortification =

Aegis Defence Line, with Quad Gun

All round this list is worth 1850p

So tell me what you think, also a question which I asked myself a lot, should I place the bought Storm Bolter for my sarge on the Razorbacks? This makes them very snooty and gives my sarge an extra attack bcse he keeps his pistol then. Just throw at me what you think!

As it's name suggests these Marines will have a Roman style of colour scheme and Pedro Kantor will be bearing another name and slightly other look as well! Conversion sketches are still in progress.
