Couldn't find this one on the BRB, hope you guys could help me with a page reference. I got some really bad luck on my ld rolls with my CSM. The setting was as follows.
Got my opponent's chaos lord locked in combat with 2 squads of my marines, 1 turn before my chaos lord could arrive to destroy his, he killed one of the champions on the CSM squad and therefore won the combat by 1, and I rolled 11 followed by a 10 for both of my units so they ran, so I gave one as dead since the lord was a slaaneshy lord so I6 vs my I4, but then my opponents asks me if he can SA both units, to which I assumed he couldn't, 1 unit can only chase 1 unit, not both, however he insisted that he could go after one and if he got them killed go after the second, we went to the BRB and couldn't find any restriction on how many units you can SA, so for sakes of the game we rolled and I lost so that SA killed 17 marines.
So... is there anywhere on the book that states that you can only SA 1 unit at a time or did we play it right?
