I've recently caved in a picked up the Forge World bundle deal on the Cataphractii terminators. I mulled over which legion I wanted to paint up whilst waiting the week for them to arrive before settling on blood angels, picking up some new paints to honour the occasion though I could likely do with grabbing some new brushes too. I've assembled one of the terminators enough to paint it up in a sample scheme using a poor reference photo for a heresy era blood angel scheme (red with gold trim?) and was hoping to get some feedback on the colour choice and execution.

Here he is so far:

Thanks for any help

Thanks guys, I'm really enjoying working with the cataphractii kits, and despite fears of miscasting/bubbles across them I just ended up with a few minor bubbles in the top of my second thunder hammer. I ended up with 25 helmets and 5 unhelmeted heads so the squad leaders will be helmet less with the rest in helmets just to make the leaders stand out a little more.

I've finished the pads/head for terminator number one and primed the second but I intend to take my time painting the whole group given how much they've costed.
