divination; prescience is always a safe bet. You can take this if you roll bad and get something you don't like.

Throw that sucker in with a sternguard and watch whatever sternguard are shooting at go up in smoke.

I myself usually roll on the telepathy. To me they are the fun powers. Theres not a single telepathy power that isn't going to be useful at some point. With the libby not being a CC fighter or a shooty piece, I just use him for his "tools".

On building Tyranid army flow chart.

Do you have enough Termagaunts?

I only run two options

Standard - Divination -> Primaris is always useful. Tossing it on a dev squad or a assault squad it will make a difference.

Sternguard Droppod: Sheild/Lance or 5+ Cover (now the norm) and a lance. Run this unit with Corbulo in front for extra lawls.

I roll my Librarian with a Jump Pack and a squad of Assault Marines, so I tend to give them a Divination power (which inevitably gets traded for Prescience), and one Biomancy power (fishing for Enfeeble). For his default powers, I tend to take Unleash Rage and Fear the Darkness.

For armies that traditionally have morale problems, I'll keep the Codex powers since a well timed Fear the Darkness can be crushing. It works especially well if you can hit a unit that you just broke with a Tank Shock, or that just broke from combat. Since broken units automatically fail their Morale checks, you can force them to fall back yet again, pushing units that you got a lucky break (pardon the pun) against clean off the table.

If you take codex powers: Shield of Sanguinius and Blood Lance were my go to powers. SoS is one of the few mobile cover powers that you can activate in your opponent's shooting phase. Most of the other codices equivalent power must be activated on YOUR shooting phase. It allows you to save your warp charge, especially if you're sticking with a mastery level 1 psyker. That cover save saved my bacon on more than one occasion, especially with vehicles.

I out with in both 40k and WHFB.
