I've recently become convinced that nob bikers are a missing element of my orks army if I wish for it to be competitive. My question relates to how most people run them. I want a biker warboss with them, pk, bp, cybork, attack squig. I also know that I want a painboy in the squad, as well as a waaagh banner. After that though, I'm looking for advice. I was planning on running 6 nobz (1 of whom is the painboy, 3 with pks, 2 barebones). A few questions: is 6 enough? If I'm doing a squad, should I just go all the way for 9 or 10? Would you take cybork for the squad? Would you run full pks on all nobz, or leave a couple with slugga/choppa up front near the warboss to eat los wounds and become the first casualties? Any other advice is welcome.

I shall direct you towards the thread right on the front page of tactics, regarding Ork Bikers covering most of what you're asking:

No - two PK's usually, 3 *very* rarely, if ever. Remember to keep them cheap. Put non-PK's up front.

Remember, they are toughness 5, with two wounds, a 4+ save, and a constant 4+ cover save. And then toss a 5++ and FnP. They are very hard to kill. 6 is enough, many run them as just 5.

Warbanner is mandatory.

You CAN put a bikerboss in there, but it's not required. They kill lots as it is.

If you do put a 'boss with them, you've got it pretty much how others run him (though the BP is optional, as the nobs can buy it).

I usually run:

Warboss: Bike, PK, Cybork, AS 150pts

Nobsx5: Bikes, Painboy, 2xPK, cyborks, waaagh banner 325 pts

475 pts all together.

Going to start adding a bp in just in case on the warboss. Anyways, ive never said to myself "man I wish I had more pks". 2 is plenty, 3 is overkill, especially with a boss. Im thinking of upping my squad to 6 or 7 bikers and just giving the extra nobs big choppas or keeping them stock so I have more wounds to LOS around and keep off my PKs and painboy. I really wouldnt go above 6 or 7 bikes unless its a very large game. Theyre dead 'ard as it is.
