Even a cheap camera can look good if you use it right.
I don't mean to patronise or sound like a know it all, but here is some little advise on using cameras.
If you know how to use a camera beyond "point, record, stop" record, then ignore this next bit.
I have a few tips on how to use a camera, though most people just point and shoot, I think if you made your Battle reports more cinematic or at least "steady", they would be much more fun to watch and besides, you can apply this if you decide to film other things:
1: Rule of thirds, really basic, but if you know this, it makes your films look really, really good.

The dots are where really interesting stuff happens, and the lines are where sort of interesting things happen, for example, a jaw line or something.
2: Learn how to use the manual settings, automatic as alright if you have artificial lighting, but even then, manual settings, though if you want a camera that doesn't have manual settings, like a really cheap one, then just make sure you don't have any glare or bright lights shining into the camera.
3: If you make the camera steady, (not holding it) that also helps immensely.
I claim to be no expert, but these three things will impress people and it makes filming fun as well, so enjoy the process of creating art, if you have spent the time and effort into your models and battles, then why not do them justice!
