Not sure if this has been asked before so im asking again...

Basically as the subject says but its mainly in relation to the SW codex, my friend runs Wolf guard in TDA in a DP, i may be missing something but as far as i know terminators cant go in pods, rhinos or razorbacks.

Please help me out so i can get to the bottom of this.

Thanks in advance

There is nothing stopping Terminators from riding in Drop Pods, so long as they have some way of being there.

Codex Space Marines Terminators can't ride in Drop Pods because they don't have the option. ICs in terminator armour can, if they join a unit that has enough leftover space.

Wolf Guard do have the option... It's the only way that Wolf Guard terminators can Deep Strike, since they don't teleport.

WG can use a drop pod just remember that SW dp's can only carry ten units or five WG in TDA. We don't get space for twelve like them fancy vanilla marines.

Read the SW Codex.
Check the rules for TDA.

No conflict.

It would be pointless to give them an ability that they already have.

As a discussion grows in length, the probability of a comparison to Matt Ward or Gray Knights approaches one.

SW terminators can't Deep Strike without a pod.

Terminators already have the ability to deepstrike.

It's not the size of the blade, it's how you use it.

Correct. There is no such permission in the Space Wolves War Gear. There's also a bit of fluff going as far as to explain why. As fluff can't be argued in YMDC, you have to go with the fact that they aren't granted permission to deep strike when wearing Terminator Armor, unlike all other Loyalist chapters and the CSM.

If you want page numbers for examples, the lack of Deep Striking is in the war gear entry on page 61 for Terminator Armor in the Space Wolves codex. However, in the Space Marines codex, the entry for Terminator Armor on page 102 says, "Any model wearing Terminator armor can be teleported onto the battlefield. They may always start the game in reserve and arrive using the deep strike rules".

I out with in both 40k and WHFB.
