I bring up these few questionable, debatable questions since they confound my opponent and I on several occasions.

First: Should vehicles benefit from camo-netting (Stealth [universal]) whilst skipping their movement, gaining a 6+ cover save from nothing? The reasoning behind this is based mainly on the camo-netting design and purpose, as well as several times in novels and such that vehicles can benefit in the distance from strained visuals; that is, so long as the vehicle hasn't moved Cruising or Flat-Out speeds.

Second: Should terrain that is in the middle of two units that fire at each other offer a cover save for the individuals being shot at? Clarification: A large crater stands 12" in between each of the units, partially covering the line-of-sight of each squad. Even though both squads stand upon a parallel separated by the crater 12" away from the two, should they be able to benefit from the cover save?

1. If it has Stealth, it will follow the rules for such, unless there is a reason stated that it wouldnt. So yes, it gets a 6+ regardless.

2. Cover save is based on true LOS. If there is 25% obscurement, then cover is granted. That applies to all firing.

Well, there are a few additional complications, such as if a vehicle's facing you'd be shooting at is completely obscured, but you can still see a different facing (p75). Or, if you shoot through a forest even if there aren't any trees blocking your LOS (p102).
