This list does not have any tanks or any sort of armor. Most people will argue that this is a very poor choice and that i will be out Gunned and out powered over most lists that are at the 2500 point level. I disagree and i will explain my reasoning at the end of this post

2500 Blood Angles Wings of Fire


Hq :
Mephiston- lord of death sword of sanguine wings of sanguine 250

Librarian- with JP shield of sanguine sword of sanguine and Blood lance 150

Honor guard-JP 4 melta guns Blood champion 225

Elites :
Sanguinary Guard with 3IP and Banner 1 PF 270

2 Priests both have an JP and PW and IP 210

Troops :
Assault Sq 2 meltas PF and melta bombs 240

Assault Sq 2 meltas PF and melta bombs 240

Assault Sq 2 meltas PF and melta bombs 240

Assault Sq 2 flamers and PF 230

Death Company x9 2 PF 3 IP and jump packs 295
with Lemartes 150

okay now the reasoning behind this list being non mechanized is for the element of surprise.
Let me explain.
Most people will have tanks or some sort of armor in one way or another, be it tanks or transport
They will have built lists to combat other tanks and armored units.
They expect to see other tanks and they plan to Deep strike behind or Drop pod in or Some form of taking out those tanks.
What they don't expect is for someone to show up with no vehicles at all
What they don't expect is for someone to show up with only jump pack infantry.

They have a mind set of taking out tanks like land raiders as soon as possible.
But if i show up on the table with only jump pack infantry then they have to re think and re position their army last second. This could cause them to second guess them self and make mistakes
They have to re think their stragity and will never know what I'm doing because every turn every unit is moving 12
Also most people are more towards shooting, thats another was im using Assault to my advantage
becuase they don't expect to assault they expect to shoot so there for not geared for Assault. But my hole army is an Assaulting anti tank fast attack


I personaly think this list will work very efficiently. I know no list is perfect and has its flaws
and weakness so I'm not saying this list is the "best"
This list will though be fun to play and the look on people faces when they have to re think and change last second is priceless


I will listen to constructional replys and ideas but i will not add any vehicles or tanks of that sort
Please leave a comment even if you are new or experienced to 40k
Just let me know what you think if it will work or not why or why not

This works fine until you run into armies you can't beat in hand to hand. I've never claimed you must have tanks to win. It just goes pretty with with marines, because marines are legitimate anti-tank targets themselves.

In this theme of a list, though, I'd have 6-9 attack bikes to take out heavy tanks, though. The meltagun, in practice, is not that great at anti-tank because of the range limitations.

The reason swarming works for nids is that shooting a lascannon or multimelta at a gaunt is really inefficient. A lasconnon or multimelta shot at a DC is not that inefficient at all, and very effective.

This list looks fun, and I'm sure it will win some games based off your premise, But I don't like its odds against chaos demons, nids, or space wolves. Or even many chaos marine lists. Have you tried to fight berserkers with BA? You lose, because they have better special abilities.

Most people are running little to no vehicles now.. Think you need to drop a character or somethig to grab another scoring unit. You effectively only have 3 forward moving scoring units if you want to keep and hold your home objective.
Or even can't help but think Dante would would work better to atleast make sang guard a scoring unit.

You really can't count on that though, because you see tons of vehicles where I play. They are still a legitimate strategy due to their immunity to small arms.

This is not by any means a tournament list, I'm not that serious player. I do not have the time Nor the money to do that.
I like building and painting and playing with friends.

That being said I do enjoy winning as do everyone
but at the same time I would like to stay with the jump pack theme
So my question is this.
What kind of ideas, tactics and units would best work for an all assault infantry army

As Guard I still run 11 av 12 + vehicles , you can't stun lock my troops anymore -
