Hello all,

Recently I have been re-painting my Orks, (with mixed results) and I've been "enjoying" it to some extent. But I have a problem, I have no idea how to paint my transports. (I.E. Trukks and Batlewagons) and I would really like some advice from you all here on Dakka. I have seen so many great painting job here, and I admire you greatly, so please help a noob out.

I am more than likely going to give them a Red Paint job in the games I play, (even though my horde is Goff) so, preferably give advice on how to paint "red" vehicles.

personaly I would spray it balck, then bolt gun metal, then nuln oil wash. that'll give you a nice dull silver to paint onto ^^

as for the red, I'm kinda out of touch with the new paints but if it's goffs then a really dark red would work great

I'd paint them rust, with a few spots of silver to indicate fresh damage that hasn't had a chance to rust over yet. After that, just swab some red paint on it like an unskilled ork just took a paintbrush and slathered paint on it. Just in spots, let the rust and silver be the main paint technique, with the red adding character. Just my opinion.
