I'm gonna be receiving 2 large tanks and I am curious If I can't paint over the base primer how to remove the paint from the models?

Super clean works well for me I have used it on plastic and metal no issues so far.

I just used some Windex. Soaked for 30 minutes, toothbrushed, then used a pin to get into crevices. Seems to work pretty well.

Okay caus the two models are land raiders..... Ha... So I haven't seen how thick the paint is but if its thin should I just re primer over it? I'm don't care about detail on vehicles as much as my characters in my sqauds

Soak them in dettol (no other brand works for some reason) for about two days, then get busy with a toothbrush, I just finished doing a basilisk I got off ebay for $25. Good as new now.

I am currently using LA's Totally Awesome on my monsterous creatures and its day two in the soak bath and there mostly all done. They have 4 layers of paint. I dont know how it affects the glue yet though.

If the paint is thin and even enough, just paint right over the top. If not, I've had decent luck with Simple Green and a toothbrush/pin.

Superclean, or if not available in your area, I had good luck with ZEP from home depot. ZEP purple degreaser.

For the love of the emperor, wear cleaning gloves, long sleeves, and goggles, that stuff is not human flesh friendly.

I put my vote in for LA totally awesome from the dollar tree. Price for volume and initial striping power is good but I have had issues with potency after 2 + striping reusing it. Also get a hard plastic bristle brush. They sell a variety pack at home depot that has it for like 3 bucks.

Not sure if you still need help with this but I used listerine (mouth wash) and soaked for like 5 hours then scrubbed it with tooth brush. Paint comes of without damage to the miniature (which was plastic).

I think you can use the listerine as many times as you want, as long as you don't pour it down the sink .
