Do infantry require as much cleaning to remove the mold release as their larger models do. I usually have to soak their larger models for days an scrub them several times to get it all off.

How long should I soak them?

Edge of the Horizon

Wash in soapy warm water, rinse, let it dry.
In my experience, minor mould lines can be removed by scraping with the back of a craft knife, much like plastic.

(have about 50 Krieg infantry behind my belt in terms of experience)

Two tools which I have found to be very helpful when working with small resin items...

Ultrasonic Jewelry Cleaner

Salad Spinner

Little cleaner and the ultrasonic cleaner will take care of the oils and other mold release agents.

After that gets done - I drop them in the salad spinner and give it a quick spin to get the majority of the water off.

Finally - a quick dip in alcohol which will air dry in the time it takes to put the salad spinner and ultrasonerator away.

They are then ready to prime.

use a sonic toothbrush.

The USS Orinoco was a Federation Danube-class runabout that was in service with Starfleet in the late 24th century, attached to Deep Space 9. It was outfitted with a sensor pod.
