Hey Guys!

Just wanted to share My list and maybe get some feedback on it. I still can't seem to figure out what to do with my remaining points. I would like some diversity as I'm not really playing competitively.

HQ
Big Mek, Kustom Force Field 85
Warboss, Power Klaw, ‘Eavy armour 90

Elites
10 Lootas 150

Troops
12 Boyz, Nob, Power Klaw, Bosspole, ‘Eavy Armor 117
Trukk, Reinforced Ram 40

12 Boyz, Nob, Power Klaw, Bosspole, ‘Eavy Armor 117
Trukk, Reinforced Ram 40

11 Boyz, Nob, Power Klaw, Bosspole, ‘Eavy Armor 111
Trukk, Reinforced Ram 40

19 Boyz, Nob, Power Klaw, Bosspole, ‘Eavy Armor 159

Fast Attack
3x Deffkoptas, Rokkit Launchas 135

Heavy Support
Battlewagon, Deffrolla, Big Shoota 115

Total: 1.199 points.

I put my big mek in the battlewagon to extend it's range. I wasn't sure where to put the warboss so I put him in a trukk. Should I?

Wouldn't take walkers with this as they'd be left behind. Since youd have to drop some trukks to fit them in, there will be less fast vehicles so they'd all get shot down quicker probably with time to spare for the walkers.

I would add 1 boy to the trukk, keep mek in battlewagon and drop deffkoptas. If you are going tank hunting, a rokkits not great and between the three of them you might bet 2 hits a turn. With the 135pts from that, make warboss have warbike, powerklaw, cyborkbody, attack squig for 150pts. For the 75pts left over, an ADL for the lootas, then RPJ for wagon and three more big shootas.

The biker boss is easy to hide and with 6 S10 hits on the charge, not many vehicles can survive and being on a bike he's got a massive charge range.

If your attack is going too well, you have walked into an ambush

The easy way is always mined

I agree with this ^^ the trukks will outpace the walkers leaving you with 2 "waves" which will be picked apart by a competent opponent. Not really knowing orks that well however, I believe you could take a similar list just swap some boyz for kommandos, they will tie up the enemy gun line letting your walkers reach their lines before being crumped. Not sure if this would work as I don't often play orks...

This was awesome in 5th, but now that you cant assault on the turn you infiltrate kommandos have pretty much been nerfed. I toyed around giving them burnas or rokkits for a throw away unit but then 100ish points for two burna or rokkit shots is hardly competitive.

I've tried that, but i'm not convinced of this group. it's quite expensive and not really a gamechanger as I thought it would be. I'm starting to think some looted wagons may be awesome. I've so much to shoot. they might survive a little while.

Yeah, they might not in themselves be a game changer but holding up for an example an IG gun line long enough for killa kans to reach guardsmen is.

Going with Morfydd's advice; but how about swapping around which battlewagon the HQs go in and give the Big Mek a Burna to increase damage capability with the Burna Wagon?

I run a very smiler list to this with my Speed Freaks but in my experiences the trucks tend to get blown up quite easily so i normally have another truck unit and a looted wagon with a unit init.
Your list hasn't got much CC punch for when you get there i would swap out the lootas for a unit of bikers or nob bikers. Iv got 12 lootas but have never used them are they any good ?

I personally think lootas are amazing.

They are quite good one unit in a decent shooting phase could completely change the game by wiping out a super strong unit. From my experience however playing against Ork guys they tend to be reletivly innefective most of the time for example in an 8 turn match in one game I played a squad of 10 only ended up killing 1 flyrant before getting gulped in CC by a tervigon and a unit of gants

Ps: yes it was a weird game...

Good list overall. I like to bring as many dakkajets, trukks, and battlewagons to the table. Lootas are really good too. For silly antics why not try a weirdboy and give him the warphead upgrade. Attach him to 30 Boyz and that's one fun time you'll have in my opinion. Comboed with dakkajets and always gettin WAAGHS is sure a good thing to.

Looks very nice ..only one minor change ..since you only have the 3 deffkoptas as fast attack (and no other fast attack) split them into 3 single man units so they can be wherever you need them to be and they will never run ..ie they will either be fighting or dead ..Looks Like a nice solid Mechanized List
