Omaha, NE

So after buying a few books and being indecisive, I've finally decided to commit to a Finn tank company as my first FoW force. It's going to look a lot like this:

HQ: 2x T-26 (80 pts)
Combat Platoon:
4x T-26 (165 pts)
4x T-26 (165 pts)
2x KV-1 (425 pts)
Weapons Platoons:
4x Jaakari Squads + Close-Defense Command Team (330 pts)
Divisional Support:
3x Ba-10 (150 pts)
2x Heavy mortars (95 pts)
Sporadic Air support from Fokker CX (90 pts)
Total: 1500 pts

I'm not particularly concerned with competitiveness at this point, mostly just getting an army on the table I think I'll enjoy. I'm thinking of ordering all the 26s and KV-1s from Gaming Models, unless anyone can make a violent case for Zvezda. The Jaakari platoon and mortars I'll order from BF, and I think I'll get the BA-10s from Command Decision. Some guy on eBay sells pre-painted model planes, including the Fokker. (I'll also probably pick up one of his Ju-88s, cause why not.)

Any suggestions? Yes, I know the list need [insert whatever you're going to say here], but one of the nice things about the Finns is that it looks like pretty much everything fits on pretty much every list, so I'm treating this as a fairly cheap force that can be expanded.

One other thing, has anyone in Dakkastan ever modeled a Finn Stu 40 G? I'm all thumbs, but but it doesn't seem like it would be too hard to take the PSC Stug III, leave off the schurzen and carve up some thick toothpicks or thin kabob stakes.

Your list is solid for Fins, not many options for them in mid war with tanks. The kv-1e is definetly a better choice then the t-34 for a tank list. In an infantry list the t-34 is good to take.

My 1500 pt list for MW pannsari is

HQ 2 t-26
Cmabat Platoon:
3 t-26
4 t-28
2 kv-1e
Divisional Support:
3 ba10-m
2 pak40
3 bt-42
2 landsverk anti II
Sporadic Air support

adds up to 1500, Again its not competative, you basically rely on the kvs to do all the work and the other stuff trys to support the KVs as they are Tiger armour but with T-34 guns.
BA-10m scout, the BT-42 artillery trys to pin things and give support fire. AA is fast moving and can flank light tanks with there high rate of fire and cover your stuff from other air support.
The pak 40s scare all but the heaviest tanks in mid war and usually can hold an objective with little support I usually leave the t-26 to help them from getting swarmed.
The armour 4 on the t-28 actually makes them ok when in cover and long range not they i would put them in a fire fight against most tanks but its better then the 1 of a t-26.
