Devastating Dark Reaper

I started watching Sons of Anarchy (a Biker Series). And I thought. That could be a really cool theme for a Bike based renegade Space Marine crew.
Is there anyone with any experience making leather cuts for Space Marines ( was planning on removing the back packs). And with cut I meen sleeveless leather jacket.

This sounds like a pretty cool idea. Probably your best bet would be using GS to make the cuts. I'm not very proficient with GS, but I think it would be fairly simple.

Cool idea, but I think making cuts for space marines is a step to far. I just can't imagine the end product looking very good unless your skills with greenstuff are advanced. Sorry to be harsh to you concept, but I'd say don't waste your time and money. As far as the rest goes, you could of course have a bike based army and use the same reaper iconography.

Sounds like a plan. My GS porfinecy is crude but I will try on one Model sa soon as I get my hands on one. But if that does not work I will maybe try the black templar robes. and just cut of everything underneath the legs.
Anyone here got any experience with addig opace white on top of a smooth black surface? I want my reaper to blend nicely in on the bike but without toning it down with black.

New part of the idea.:

Space wolves heads for added feriocity. And making this skullcaps of GS. Which I guess I will manage.

Leather jackets and heads shouldn't be too hard to sort, either via bits or greenstuff. The SoA patches could probably be done most effectively through printable decals which I hear is doable from home - but haven't tried. Will save a lot of painful free hand ; p

The idea doesn't do too much for me fluff wise (despite liking the show), unless you play them as an IG hive gang detachment which I think could be pretty awesome : p Platoons/vets/penal foot troops with the obvious rough riders could be a damn fine looking army or allied detachment.

IG would be a better fit, and Catachan bodies would get you off to a great start.

smash the green stuff in between 2 pieces of acrylic with a light coat of olive oil. Then wrap the torso and use a putty knife to cut out the arm openings. It will take a few tries but its not that hard.
