Imperial Recruit in Training

Hi all, So Ive decided to create an imperial guard army with a police/prison guard/SWAT theme, so far I have not started painting any as Im stuck on how I should paint them. Any ideas? Any feedback on the modeling or paint scheme would be much appreciated as its my first heavily converted army and I am always looking for ways to improve my modeling.

Thanks

Grays, dark blues, black. Take your pick. A quick google images search for 'swat gaming miniature' can yield a lot of inspiration. Or search for images of real police and try to pick similar colours.

These are cool! I'd paint them the classic SWAT blue.

Though they are very good conversions, they still look very Imperial Guardish. So I think that blue would give them like a proper SWAT feel.
