East Toad Suck

I was so blown away by "Open Fire" I decided to start collecting an army. My first purchase past the Open Fire set was the German 8.8cm AA Battery. It shows up missing the Kubelwagon command car. So I carefully filled out Battlefront's online problem form. I get a message on Dec 1 that a representative would be contacting me soon. It has been 12 days and two follow-up emails since and I have yet to get a response from Battlefront. I must be stupid or something but I also cannot find any phone number to contact them at.

Any suggestions? Does anyone on Dakka Dakka know any employees at Battlefront who can help address this? Better yet, are any Battlefront people monitoring this forum? I'm kind of the guy in my gaming community leading the charge to get people into Flames of War, but this is beginning to make me wonder if I've picked the right game.

Well, I contacted their UK based office about my V3 small rulebook falling apart and got reply the same day or next, and then promptly they dispatched a replacement book, which arrived in very short time (it was almost instant, considering we dealt with Royal Mail...). I dont know about US, but since it is X-mas time, probably they are having schedule issues right now.

Looking to trade away 15mm Forged in Battle Pumas (still in the box).

Mine is raining pages out like confetti, I barely open the thing 20 degrees when I do read it, quite annoying.
Would I need to send my bust one back? Bit late in the year (2 parcels missing for a fortnight already, afraid to use Royal Mail for anything)

Best bet for the small rulebook is to just spend the $5 to get is spiral bound.

Yep. Mine started to fall apart too. Spend the $5 and get it spiral bound, believe me it saves SO much trouble and makes it easy to lay on the table.

I actually have no idea where abouts in England I can get that done.

Bound to be one company in the north east who does it, but not found one so far.

Try Staples, or places like them.

I'm not certain, but I think they can do something like that...

In my experience, the missing part shows up at your doorstep without much of a response email. I've had missing pieces twice and within 5 days the parts were at my doorstep. I really think the delay is due tot he warehouse move.
Also, if you have a broken model or book binding, they'll send you a free one without the need to send the defective piece.

Any high street printers will do this and as you point out the big Staples/Officeworld stores do this as well.

Many offices have spiral bound equipment too, it's usually the thing that looks like a typewriter with a crank handle on the side, usually covered in dust too!

As for BF service, in my experience (strikingly similar to the OP) good and bad.

A few years ago (so dealing direct with NZHQ) I contacted them on the website to register an 88 boxset without any gun barrels, after a week I got an email queuing some details (batch number etc), then an email to say a replacement would be dispatched.

Again a wait of a week or two and I received a pack with two complete guns and trailers arrived. Which was sweet. So a mixed bag but ultimately nothing to worry about.
