Greetings fellow green skins!

Let's start off with what armies I play. I used to play Space Marines but it did not quite fit for me. So I decided to ally myself to the mighty Waaagh and have not looked back since. What first drew me to them is they are Orks! They are ruthless and somewhat cunning and live in the mighty Never Never Land! (Hey if they can make a piece of turd fly with their psychic powers then that sounds Peter Pan-ish to me!) They are scavengers of the universe (though I would hate to run into that garbage man on a cold night in a dark alley!) and never give up, enjoy a good fight and well... They are green! You know how the old saying goes: it's not easy being green!

Okay enough jokes aside here. My first tournament at my local Games Workshop has got me thinkin' about which way I want to take my army. Right now it's just a bunch of Boyz having fun taking over planes of existence and bringing back war trophies (and teeth of those fallen!) Let's say the whole Boyz thing isn't working out for me. I got my butt handed to me by the 5th turn with only 14 killed on the other side, thanks to my Burma-Bomber! Hopefully I can get the help here I need to be able to get up close and personal with a couple pink skins and still be able to cover save my army's behind with some well needed anti tank support!

Well let me see to start off I am one of 2 females who play 40k at my store. My name is Sheenna and my favorite Ork has to be Boss Snikrot. His model was a joy to paint! My favotire flying unit has to be the planes. My wishlist is to get Stompa just to see what I can do with it's color scheme! I love looking at the variety that people have for their armies. It saddens me when they aren't even primed! *sniffle* Right now my color scheme for my Orks varies in skin tones of Brown (If you are a Warcraft player you'd go: hey, those are those Orcs from Nagrand!) to the traditional greens (various tints, from light green with dark highlights on muscles and veins to a dark green with a lighter dry brush tint for my baddie boys!) The majority of their pants are done in the cameo scheme, as released by the Website (So beautiful if you cheat and add droplets of black! Hoping to post pictures with a decent camera!)

I tried customizing a Trukk someone had given me at the store... Let's say it failed miserably... Looks like a POC on wheels! Properly named the Rainbow colored Barf Machine of the Color-Blind Orks. I do have another trukk I gave a decent paint job of rust dirt brown. And my Plane is Camo colored with a bunch of Ork graffiti painted all over it.

Well that's it for my intro! if you have any questions about me... Uhm... ^^ feel free to find me!

Boom boom! Dakka Dakka Waaagh!

Hi,

Welcome to Dakka

IceAngel wrote:I must say Knightley, I am very envious of your squiggle ability. I mean, if squiggles were a tactical squad, you'd be the sergeant. If squiggles were an HQ, you'd be the special character. If squiggles were a way of life, you'd be Doctor Phil...
