A friend of mine suggested using Demon Yellow from Army Painter for my Imperial fists and I was wondering about which was to use. I have never been that into painting, but I am totally into the Horus Heresy so I want to do this army justice. I tried Casandora Yellow over the Daemon Yellow, but worried about it being a little to orange.

What do you guys think?


I did his right leg with the wash, but again think it might be a little to orange. I have trouble with colors sometimes.

For my imperial fists I base coat with demonic yellow give it a heavy wash with devlan mud then give it a few coats of flash gitz yellow then give it a thinned down wash of gryphonne sepia but you can miss this out if you want the yellow to be brighter ? Check out my other posts for some pictures
