Finally got my ethereal in the mail. I painted him up to have the same color scheme as my fire warriors...just with more light blue, the sept marking color.
I also finished my first Kroot. This is a complete kroot and was my color scheme test piece.
Here is the Ethereal, Kroot and one of my Fire Warriors together to show the color scheme that my whole cadre will have
Let me know what you all think. My next piece is the fish for my Fire Warrior team...then my Shas' el crisis suit.

I like the kroot, I would suggest thinning the blue down some, it looks kind of chalky.

Nice. I really like the red glossy eyes on the etherial.
To me it looks like the blue on him could do with another coat in places but it might just be the picture.
I like the way the blue is present on all the models as detailing, it really ties them together as a force.

Actually, I like the blue a lot. Particularly the bone and blue kroot shoulder look nice with the red skin.

I like the Kroot too but I'd be inclined to give it a few more red highlights on certain areas to make them stand out more.

I really like the red Kroot. I wish I had done that on mine to make them less mainstream, before painting a whole bunch of them in similar green tones to Ork skin. I thought it was a good idea at first, but over the years they have seemed more boring.
