Great work Paul. I though this was a crazy idea when I first heard it, but you have had the brilliance to pull it off, and he skill to do a fantastic job. Will next years project be a dreadknight?

You Sir keep bringing the skill. I have just started playing around with lights in my models. You are fielding full scale models with Nuclear power supplies in them to run all those lights . The costume is looking excellent keep it up.

if anyone is nearby to record this beast walking through the carnival I'd love t see it in action. I'dalso love to see the reactions of anyone who recognizes what it is and is trying really hard not to be seen as a closet GW fan .

I know you said said wasn't an issue before, but seeing how you have to walk with the legs on, have you considered the weight distribution bow legged? Hope that made sense, hard to come up with the right words when your talking about shear awesomeness

The kids outfits look fantastic, can't wait to see full pics of you in this outfit. You should assault the local GW store when done. Smash through their front door, when they try to tell the police who broke in they'll be hauled away as fruit cakes.

Like KNOCK! KNOCK.... Then blow the G.W Exeter's doors off the hinges with the Dreadnought then send the scouts in to mop up did you mean? Sounds like a plan to me.
"It was a dreadnought I tell you! A veteran of a thousand battles! And he knew my name! I'M NOT CRAZY! I'd be dead now but he must have rolled all ones an his guns jammed as I dodged out o the way!" Cackling hysterically as they haul the guy away.

Of course they don't know, it's on he internet . I was just wondering if the shop manager had made arrangements. Have you thought about renting it and yourself out for kids birthday parties? You could stomp into their backyards, flip over a table or two and stomp out.

Well it is part of. Pencil delivery system , mr. Rogers never had that. The suit is excellent, and the rifle looks like its coming along well also .

Sorry my autocorrect got me a few times yesterday. That should have said "postal delivery service". Mr. Rogers is a bit part of Americana from my generation and those slightly older. He had his own t.v. Show "mister Rogers neighborhood" where he was the focal character. He always wore handmade (by his mother) sweaters, talked directly to the boys and girls by looking at the camera, and taught important life lessons. I thought he might have been one of those shows that bridged international fame as it was early t.v. 1960s I think is when it started. Anyway he had a reoccurring character called mr. Mcfeely, a postman who would show up saying "speedy delivery", and hand him letters from fans.
Now I have taken away a few minutes of precious costume building time. I will go execute myself right now.

Costume is looking awesome, and the sniper rifle is great. I think with the old saying the dreadnought looks like a walking washing machine you should have a clothesline with shorts on it dragging off your foot . Can't wait to see the trophies you bring home for this. If they give you a paper trophy you should turn it into more litanies.

Looked at your YouTube channel this morning will the dreadnought be using any of your mad martial arts skills? Or can you get some of the guys who show up in the videos to dress up as eldar and attack you? Best live action movie idea ever

Congrats, well deserved win , glad your efforts paid off. Have you asked the local GW store if they want you to show up at their location on the 7th? Or even on the 31st of this month?
