Subject: Lt. Coldfire's blog of super slow progress - Blue Necron Immortals?
Just as many of you, I have a huge number of unpainted miniatures lying around that are asking to be painted. In an attempt to motivate myself and improve my painting ability, which is one of the biggest reasons I don't paint much , I'm once again going to start a blog. I am by no means a great painter and while I'll appreciate a few high fives, what I'm really looking for is some cold, hard criticism and suggestions.
First up on the block are some Necron Immortals. I used Secret Weapon's armor wash on the armor and it appears to have dried pretty damn heavily. Oh well. I was going for a bit of a weathered look anyways and the pics make it look much worse than it actually is. Overall I'm pretty happy with how these puppies turned out. Any suggestions on an armor highlight? The armor base coat is Vallejo GC Electric Blue, but for some reason it just seems odd highlighting in blue...
