Seems legit, although I'd be more inclined to include lascannons as heavy bolters do nothing to AV 12.

If you are going to be defensive, then why do you have carapace armour? Are you intending your CCS to be an emergency anti charge unit?

I think that camo suits defensive and carapace armour offensive.

With the addition of some more lascannons, I think this list is fairly solid. HOWEVER! I see this having some major problems against outflanking units and drop pods. I suggest that you get something to mitigate the effects of outflankers/ drop pod attacks. Though I suspect that it is going to go against your combat doctrine. Leman Russ tanks are good, but not when they are attacked from behind. Here is an idea, Only have two and with the 150 points, buy yorself some power fists or power swords or something, because your biggest problems are going to be those two things. (You don't have to get rid of a Leman Russ, I'm just throwing ideas around

Your next biggest concern would be fliers, I don't see any anti air there, having said that, you probably have too many men to even notice when you take casualties from fliers.

If you fix these holes, I'd say your onto a winner.

Now ve vill test za atomic device, put your safety goggles on.

Drop the sponsons on the LRBT as they will be snapfiring whenever you fire the battlecannon... so always. Frees up 60points, dont change hull weapon to lascannon either as that will be snapfiring as well. Just take the 3 LRBT as is.

Agree with ^undead^ about lack of lascannons or something to hurt AV12+, especially AV14. Melta squads are best but seeing as you want a heavy weapons army just take lascannons.
You've got 15 heavy weapons squads which only need to take 2 wounds to fall back on a Ld7. So I'd drop the CCS where one ac wont make a difference and take a Lord Commissar where his 12" bubble of Ld10 will keep them there. Also would suggest an ADL with Quad Gun. 28" of 4+ cover would work great for all the heavy weapons teams. I'd drop the scout sentinels for that as I cant see them doing much.

So if you dropped sponsons, CCS and sentinels you'd get 260pts. Could take
Lord Commissar 70pt
ADL with Quad gun 100pt
90 points of heavy weapon upgrade to Lascannons (9 heavy bolters to 9 lascannons?)

On a side note the DKoK are good for heavy weapons spam as their Heavy Weapons Squads also have the combined squads rule so they can meat shield behind normal infantry units.

If your attack is going too well, you have walked into an ambush

The easy way is always mined
