Playing Imperial Guard in January and been trying to figure out a way to toast them. Let me know what you think of the list please.

I would recommend more big guns. If he is spamming AV 14 LRs than you should spam S 10 guns

You can't sadly. It's part of the farsight enclave ruling you can only have 1 hammerhead and 1 broadside team per army.

I dont think you can specifically design it in case he/she AV14 spams you. If he infantry spams you you'd be in strife.

I'm not a fan of burst cannons on battle suits. There's so much S5 other places in the army it kinda seems a waste of all that mobility. They seem more suited to being a anti tank or elite unit with either fusion blaster or plasma. If you opponent does field a lot of tanks, those battle suits should be able to make short work of them. Then fire warriors will mince any infantry. I havn't played tau much, just against them so yeah, thats my 2cents.

Thankfully there isn't a lot of AV14 in imperial guard land.

I'd gear the farsight bodyguards with TL flamers and shield generator... and ASSAULT STUFF!. He's one of those rare "ignores armor save" weapons not AP3 Powersword. you could pretty much swap that elite slot for the bodyguard loadout.
