Glad to see this going forward! Did you get some funds from the Indiegogo (flexible funding campaign) and the rest elsewhere?

Hi RiTides. Thanks for your interest. We achieved just US$7,430 from our Indiegogo campaign, but the attention the game received here and in the gaming media was enough that we decided to go all-in to get the game to market. This is the result.

Gotta say, this game is very fun and has AMAZING potential! Even at Alpha stage it shows how this game could be a very well built and fleshed out turn based war game, much like Epic 40k. I was afraid that the game would go the way of Epic with Titan etc. But the infantry and tanks are suitably powerful so far! Its really worth a look folks, plus its not that much money! Help a fellow out and pitch in so this game can make a bit of a splash in both the table top gaming and video gaming worlds!

I saw your post in the other thread that this isn't going to be made for iPad yet- makes sense as that probably takes a bigger team! I do hope it eventually is, as that it the only machine I think we have that could run it.

I don't know how video game preorders are usually run, but I remember thinking during the campaign that you might have been undercharging (but maybe that's how it always is for video games). There were lots of folks from the wargaming hobby interested in it, but whereas those who are interested in other campaigns are donating hundreds of dollars, for yours it was only $10-$25. Soooo, you need a lot more people to get onboard, and there just aren't that many of us!

Have you also reached out to the real-time-strategy world? I'm sure the answer's yet, I'm just really far out of the loop for PC games...

I thought this was a turn based game?

I'm hoping this is the spiritual successor to Final Liberation!

Also, the RTS World isn't usually a fan of turn based games, but personally, I love them!

Yes, EW:FE is definitely a turn-based game, but we probably should be reaching out to strategy gamers in general, so it's good advice. Thanks!

Not sure I could claim EW:FE as a spiritual successor to Final Liberation...but let's just say it has LOTS in common with that most excellent game that I have played lots and lots of. (Although of course I think EW:FE is better, or at least will be when finished, with the better rules and gameplay, the better-looking units that you can get close to with the camera, and the non-pants animations.)
