Didn't get around to writing up battle reports, but we do have a number of fun pics from our most recent games of In The Emperor's Name.

It was my first chance to get my neo-soviet warband on the table and one of our newer members brought some ace Orky terrain and vehicles!

They were our first tryout of the ITEN vehicle rules. The feeling seemed to be that while the rules for vehicles were incredibly simple, they did feel balanced and did not dominate the game the way vehicles sometimes do in warband size skirmish games.

A couple sample pics...

We were using 300 point-per-team forces. Not counting the costs of vehicles. The scenarios were basic meat grinders just played to try and give us an idea of how vehicles perform in ITEN.

On the desert table:
2 teams of orks, mostly basic boy profiles
1 team of Neo-Soviets using the Imperial Guard profiles
1 robot explorer team using a mix of Slaan and other profiles
Each side had one truck and two pickups

On the urban layout
1 Japanese sci-fi team for which I didn't see the profile
1 Imperial guard team with IG profiles

Except for the Sentinel, all the vehicles in both games were basic truck and pickup designs with basic rocket launchers and big shootas from the ITEN weapons lists.
