Hi, I have been playing with my Skorne miniatures for several games now and I really enjoy the synergy between the beasthandlers and beasts, but lately I've been playing 25 point games where I've thrown in Praetorians as a filler for my last 4 points. These guys end up as soul token food for Marketh. I'm not too experienced with warmahordes yet, but I was thinking a 4 point light warbeast would synergize better with the rest of my list, since pMorghoul has little to offer for units and the beasthandlers even less. Then again, Marketh does need his soul tokens!

This is my list so far:

pMorghoul + 7
Titan Gladiator - 8
Titan Bronzeback - 10
Cyclops Savage - 5
Paingiver Beasthandlers - 2
Aptimus Marketh - 3

These are miniatures I already have, but not in the aforementioned list:
Cyclops Savage
Gatorman Posse
Paingiver Task Master
Nihilators (without UA)
Praetorian Swordsmen (with UA)

pMorghoul is the only warlock I have tried out. I have Archdomina Makeda lying around, but I wanted to familiarize with one at a time.
I would like to hear your thoughts on what could fill the last 4 points. Without units, maybe Marketh isn't worth it? In any case, I've been looking at the light warbeasts and I really don't like the looks of the basilisks (those darn stalk eyes!), but the razor worm is appealing. Has anyone tried it? If the basilisks are the only ones worthwhile, which is better, the krea or drake?

Thank you in advance!

Krea

The defensive buff is amazing and can make it really annoying to
shoot at your caster, or even your elephants.

Although I'm not sure about the Razorworm. Maybe someone
else can speak to that. It is a sweet model.

Thank you!

My main opponents like to play legion with eLylyth and trollbloods with Grim Angus, so shooting is definitely something I would like to counter. Nice to have at least something that can shoot back, as well! Too bad the model looks so unappealing.

If you're allowed to hit 26 points, a cyclops brute isn't a terrible idea with morghoul (The animus prevents morghoul from getting knocked down, AKA near certain death for him). But the krea is probably the better choice.

Because your running pmorghoul I would not have marketh, he does nothing in you list besides cast a free spell (of which your cast has no good ones). With the models you have I would run this

PMorghoul
Bronze back
Savage
Swordsmen with UA
A full unit of nihilators
And either up the swordsmen to a full unit and get a feralgeist or a full unit of beast handlers or beast handlers and a feralgeist

With pMorghoul you want a screen of infantry so you can get him into melee with the enemy caster and have a field full of threats. Nihilators are a ten man unit of killers, they not only completely wipe out enemy units but they also have tough. Swordsmen with the UA have two attacks each that always do at least one damage, a full unit with UA attacking something do a minimum of 22 dmg no matter the armor of the target, this also allows you to walk through war machine players as thy tend to have more units then hordes players. The feralgeist allows you to save a warbeast if the game goes that far but generally the only beast you put in combat is the bronze back as you want the savage mostly for his animus. Once morghoul is in combat and the savage has used his animus on him you can have up to 14 attacks that you can boost after rolling that do a minimum of 1 damage each. This list not only takes care of infantry lists but high armor lists will get overwhelmed by your infantry.
