So I am beginning a space wolves detachment for my imperial guard. So back when I first began gaming I had played a game called mech warrior by wizkids. My first army that I played was Steel wolves, and there armies colors were brown and silver(base color brown with some silver parts). So I've decided that my space wolves will become my old steel wolves(in color). So my question is what other colors could I use to give some color deffinition.

I really only use GW paints as well.

I have based my model black and am going to give his armor a coat of brown.

Once thats done I will apply silver where needed, places like joint plates and the inside of the shoulder pads.

What Im looking for is like a lighter brown to possibly highlight the darker brown. The darker brown I plan on using is rhinox hide. I also dont want to light of a brown that it just doesnt look right but what are some suggestions?

I also plan on doing the eyes a red color and I believe the boltguns will be black and silver.

Also the spacewolves have wolf pelts on some of their armor, I am currently having trouble with how to color them. Ive looked up pics of wolves and am thinking of a darker grey with highlight of black or even swapped around black with highlight of grey.

Comments would be much appreciated!
