We went and seen Rise of the Guardians over the weekend and to my surprise it was actually pretty good. I really just liked Russian Santa with his arms tattoos and wielding swords in both hands. Santa was the best. Any one else see it? Thoughts or opinions.

I went with my cousin when he took his daughter to see it and was pleasantly surprised by how engaging it was. It had a nice balance of humour, action, and darkness, and is certainly worth recommending.

My personal favorite was Sandman. Santa's helpers (snowmen and elves) were hilarious.

Amidst the mists and coldest frosts he thrusts his fists against the posts and still insists he sees the ghosts.

I thought it was okay. The idea behind it, The Avengers of Folklore; is really cool. However, the story and movie itself was by-the-numbers. I would call it workmanlike. Which isn't to say it is bad, but it could have been more.
