Just played a game against my buddy (me orks, him his new necron army) and he charged a squad of my boyz with his overlord while in his CCB. I ended up killing him out of it with my Nob wielding a PK, and what we couldn't figure out was whether the Overlord resurrected IN the barge, or on the ground near it?

Also that same Nob killed his Overlord on my following turn when I assaulted him. And he resurrected again. donkey-cave.

Unless Everliving gives the ability to embark, the Overlord resurrects not only outside the barge, but out of combat too.

In your scenario: the Overlord spawns outside his chariot and unengaged as there are no provisions in the Reanimation Protocols rules to allow a model to be embarked on a vehicle when it is invoked. (that said: you'd need to place the Overlord model within 3" of the Everliving token 'and' at least 1"+ away from any enemy models. This can be tricky to do with the command barge surrounded by enemy models)

RAW isn't exactly clear where you'd put the Everliving Token down on the table in the first place though, so HIWPI is to place the token in base-to-base contact with the chariot somewhere.
