Stealthy Space Wolves Scout

In ur base, killin ur d00dz

I'm a Space Wolves player with a small army that will soon be growing larger come christmas time but I still don't have a colour scheme yet! Right now the one thing I do know is that I want a darker style thus my going out and getting chaos black spray paint but beyond that I wouldn't even know how to start. I've seen SW armies that were white, grey, blue, black and even a weird tan/red combo. I have no idea how to go about choosing a colour scheme and even after that I wouldn't know what paints to buy and use. I'm basically hopeless without some help, so I'm on my knees begging you dakka help a wolf brutha out!

I don't personally play Space Wolves but if I did I would probably go for more of a Gray color instead of the baby blue/ bright blue you see sometimes. Your best bet would probably be browsing the paint section of GW's website and just picking what you think looks good.

They also have "painting guides" where they recommend color combinations for different things. For example, for Space Wolves they recommend:

The Fang -> Nuln Oil -> Russ Grey -> Fenrisian Grey -> Etherium Blue ->

You could probably mix some black or dark grey into some of those colors for a darker look or just add some extra Nuln Oil wash.
