Does any one know a good highlight colour for Dark Angels as currently mine have no highlights and look a little bland. The colours I have used are: Caliban Green, Mephiston Red, Ulthuan Grey, Leadbelcher, Ushabti Bone and Agrax Earthshade. Possible colours to go with them, I need a new white as Ulthuan Grey is just bad, it's always lumpy and never be's smooth.

PS: The word colour is just the UK spelling of color to those in the States.

You know Warhammer is getting to real when you being using 40K swears, for example "fug" and "Emperors Hairy Arse!" When writing this the word arse was not recognized, well done.

This guide recommends Warboss Green to highlight Caliban Green. A quick Google of "How To Paint Dark Angels" will bring up various alternatives.

Alternatively simply adding white to Caliban Green will allow you to create your own highlight colour.

Thanks, I think I'll try these out, going to a GW soon as there isn't one local to me. I was definitely thinking those colours so now just time to get them. Any suggestions on actually trying to highlight, what technique should I be using. As for the tutorial, I don't really like watching them as they go waaaaaaay over my head.

The tutorial is just a pictorial one, not a video. But basically if you start by highlight the areas where you think light would naturally hit the model, for example the tops of the shoulder pads and the helmet, you can't go wrong. To actually physically achieve the edge highlight, use the edge of your brush, with very little paint on.
